The Paulding County School Board held several formal votes on Oct. 7. The following actions were recorded in open session:
• Adopted the proposed meeting agenda — unanimous vote. (Motion recorded; mover/second as noted on the record.)
• Approved minutes from the Sept. 16 regular session meeting — recorded as 6 in favor, 1 abstention (motion to approve by Miss Sauer; second by Mr. Clayton).
• Approved the superintendent’s personnel report covering items 1 through 57 — unanimous. Motion moved by Mr. Chester and seconded by Mr. Nolan.
• Upheld the decision of the tribunal disciplinary committee for tribunal appeal number 1 — unanimous. Motion moved by Mr. Chester and seconded by Mr. Nolan.
• Adjourned to executive session to discuss land, legal, personnel, safety and a tribunal appeal; the board returned from executive session without votes and reported no votes were taken in executive session.
