Tiburon parks commission elects Chair Moon and Vice Chair Ghaffari for one-year terms

The Tiburon Parks, Open Space and Trails Commission elected new leadership at the start of its Sept. 30 meeting.
Commissioners nominated the current vice chair, identified in the meeting as Chair Moon, to serve as chair for the coming year and unanimously approved the nomination by roll-call vote. The commission then nominated Michael Ghaffari to serve as vice chair; that nomination also passed unanimously.
The elections were procedural and followed the commission’s standard one-year leadership term. With the vote complete, commissioners thanked outgoing officers and moved on to the day’s agenda.
