The Cochise County Library District board approved minutes from meetings on Sept. 16 and Sept. 30 and deleted an agenda item after staff said there were no bills to pay, the board reported Oct. 7.
The presiding official called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. and conducted roll call. Supervisor Crosby (District 1) was present remotely; Supervisor Gomez (District 2) and Supervisor Antonory (District 3) were present in person. The presiding official said, “We do not appear to have a call to the public for the library district meeting, so we'll go direct to agenda items number 1 and 2.”
Agenda item 2 was deleted because there were no demands and “the library is not spending any money, so there's no bills to pay,” the presiding official said. A motion to approve the minutes for Sept. 16 and Sept. 30 was moved and seconded on the record; the board voted 3-0 to approve the minutes. The presiding official concluded the item by calling the vote and stating, “Motion carries 3 to 0.”
With no public comment and no financial actions required, the library district meeting was adjourned and the board proceeded to the scheduled Flood Control District meeting.
