Marion County board denies Moon Bar liquor renewal after neighbors and police cite repeated violence and nuisance

The board voted 3-1 to deny the renewal after hearing testimony from remonstrators, area neighborhood organizations and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department investigators. Excise officer Amy Sonnier administered the meeting and the commission heard protracted testimony about fights, reported thefts, and evidence of drug use around the business and in the shared parking lots.
