Del City council adopts stormwater fee, streets surcharge, insurance renewals; tables one abatement

The Del City City Council on Oct. 6 voted unanimously on a package of ordinances, insurance renewals and administrative actions, including a change to the stormwater fee formula and a new monthly streets surcharge. The council also approved renewal of liability and property insurance policies, ratified several code-abatement assessments, and adopted a resolution to accept Oklahoma 9-1-1 Management Authority grant funding for NG9-1-1 GIS mapping remediation.

Stormwater utility fee (Ordinance 1447) The council adopted Ordinance No. 1447 to replace the legacy drainage fee and to confirm a stormwater utility fee as the sole stormwater funding charge.
