The board unanimously approved an ordinance to establish a local jurisdiction property tax relief program for tax roll year 2025 and set the city’s local match at $40 in addition to the existing $96 sanitation fee waiver. The board also approved a budget adjustment ordinance that includes a $762,691 appropriation from general fund balance to support the state industrial access project in the Meadowview area, a multi-million-dollar state road project that will open about 150 acres for industrial use.
