Tulare County proclaims Oct. 7, 2025 as Centenarian Day; 23 residents honored

Dana Wilde, division manager for the county Health and Human Services Agency, adult services division, introduced staff who compiled the centenarian profiles and read names and short notes about each honoree. Wilde told the board, “So with that, we will meet our centenarians and we have 23 centenarians this year.” The honored residents ranged in age from 100 to 107 and represented multiple supervisorial districts.
Several supervisors joined Wilde in presenting the proclamation and offered brief remarks thanking the centenarians and their families. The proclamation text recognized centenarians as “living links to history” and urged residents to honor their contributions. Supervisors invited honorees and guests for photographs and recessed the meeting briefly so the centenarians could depart if they wished.
