The City of West Covina Traffic Committee on Oct. 15 approved a staff recommendation to install permanent no-parking markings and signage on a segment of West Sunkist Place east of North Sunkist Avenue after Waste Management reported garbage trucks could not pass when cars were parked on both sides.
The committee voted 3-0 to move forward with the recommendations presented by TransTech, including painting red curb and installing “No Parking” signage around the cul-de-sac so larger vehicles can enter, service the street and turn around. The city estimated…
