Board members present noted housing and homelessness work is under review by a local committee and that staff are looking at creating more flexible local funding paths so clients can be helped at one point of contact rather than being shuffled between constrained federal programs.
Chok asked the board to consider the suggested grant category before the letters of intent deadline the next business day; the board did not take immediate action on the request during the meeting and staff said they would take the comment under advisement.
