The Carson City Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve the City’s Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the 2024–25 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, staff reported.
Grants staff said the CAPER summarizes accomplishments for the 2024–25 CDBG program year and that the report was posted for a 15‑day public comment period ending Sept. 10; staff reported that no public comments were received during that period. Grants staff asked the board for any additional direction before final submission; no members raised changes during the meeting, and staff said they would finalize the document for submission.
Supervisor Schuette moved approval of the CAPER and the board approved the motion by unanimous voice vote.
The board also took the opportunity to introduce a new grants coordinator, Yesenia Pacheco; staff noted Pacheco will assist with future grant administration and reporting.
