The Greencastle-Antrim School District Board of School Directors approved a slate of routine items including curriculum updates for 2025–26, an intramural job description, a high school mock trial club, participation in a Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency survey for selected grade levels, multiple personnel items and a conference attendance request.
Superintendent Dr. Reifel presented the recommended curriculum updates and the board voted to approve them; the board thanked CIL coordinators and teachers for their work on curriculum writing. The intramural job description and associated three stipend positions were approved, enabling the district to post and fill those roles. The board approved a new mock trial club for the high school; board members congratulated student organizer Sawyer for creating the opportunity.
The board approved participation by students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 in a biennial survey administered in partnership with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency; the district will send families a letter and allow an opt-out for parents who do not want students to participate. The board accepted personnel items (labeled a through g in the meeting materials) and approved a conference request for Jennifer Everts, the district career coordinator, to attend the Pennsylvania Cooperative Education Association (PCEA) conference in October 2025; the board noted registration and lodging were already budgeted in the 2025–26 budget.
