• Budget transfer (FY26 amendment #1): The board approved a series of transfers within the unrestricted FY26 budget intended to reclassify expenditures so they align with Maryland finance rules. The package included a $109,901 transfer into category 1 to correctly charge advanced placement testing line items and other intra‑category moves; the board adopted the transfer request by voice vote.
• Comprehensive maintenance plan: The board approved the CMP the facilities supervisor presented. The CMP documents routine and preventative maintenance plans and will accompany the district’s capital planning and FY27 local CIP request; the board approved the plan by voice vote.
• State Capital Improvement Plan (FY27–32) approval: The board approved the district’s state CIP submission for FY27–32, which included Kennard Elementary HVAC systemic renovation as the top priority (to be resubmitted with updated cost estimates), Kennard roof replacement, Centerville Elementary HVAC design, Centerville Middle renovation design, Matapeake/Matapeak Middle roof replacement, and Centerville fire alarm replacement. The board approved the CIP by voice vote.
