Per the committee report, the superintendent provided an overview of planned perceptual data gathering as part of the comprehensive plan process and the high-school bridge-stage accreditation effort. Committee members asked that the planned data-gathering work be coordinated with other opportunities throughout the school year.
The committee report described a continuing review of novels and materials in the secondary curriculum and said the superintendent would provide further information on perceptual data collection as that planning proceeds. These items were presented as committee updates; the board did not take formal action on curriculum policy or materials during the Oct. 6 meeting.
