Board packet includes new and renewed instructional agreements, including Title I services for nonpublic students

The Fox Chapel Area School District board was briefed Oct. 6 on several instructional agreements scheduled for formal action at the board’s next meeting, including a renewal with Seton Hill University, a new site-based academic services agreement with Wesley Family Services, and a master services agreement with MGT Impact Solutions LLC to provide Title I services to Christ the Divine Teacher Academy for the 2025–26 school year.

Board materials describe the Seton Hill partnership as a continued agreement covering July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028, and indicate additional college and high-school classes are anticipated under that relationship. The Wesley Family Services agreement is listed as a new, site-based academic services arrangement covering the same July 1, 2025–June 30, 2028 period.

The MGT Impact Solutions LLC master services agreement is described in the packet as a mechanism for providing Title I-funded services to eligible nonpublic students who reside within the district under the 2025–26 Title I program. Board members asked clarifying questions about the Title I arrangement and were told that public school districts act as fiduciaries for Title I funds directed to nonpublic students and that the district can provide those services directly or contract with outside providers in cooperation with the nonpublic school. Staff indicated that some initial screening activities may have started but that the precise service start date was not specified in the meeting discussion.

All three agreements were listed on the agenda as motions to be moved and voted on at next week’s business meeting; no votes were taken on Oct. 6.
