Projects committee asks district to post redacted Cyclone Energy report; bond referenced in capital summary

The Fox Chapel Area School District’s Projects and Planning Committee asked district staff to review a Cyclone Energy report, make required redactions, and post it on the district website alongside materials from the Aug. 11 board meeting. The committee also requested that any nonproprietary slides from the report presentation be posted.
At the Oct. 6 meeting, the board was updated on a capital projects funding summary that included funding projections prepared in February 2025 and noted that the summary will change as the district revises plans to reflect a $10,000,000 bond. The committee also discussed potential near-term facilities projects.
The committee’s direction to post an appropriately redacted version of the Cyclone Energy report follows internal review and an assessment of proprietary material; the board asked staff to ensure that proprietary slides are not posted.
No formal vote occurred on these items at the Oct. 6 meeting; the matters were reported as committee requests and updates for future action.
