Board approves vacation of interior utility and drainage easements in Tooth Lake Estates

Omar DePaolo, development services director, told the board that affected county departments and utilities had all indicated no objections to the vacation and that the parcel had already been merged. The petitioner, Charles Long, told the board he planned to build “dead center of the two properties.”
Commissioners asked whether the lots had been merged for some time; DePaolo confirmed the merger has occurred. No members of the public asked to speak on the request. A motion to approve staff’s recommendation passed unanimously.
The action removes the interior 7.5‑foot easements that remained after the two lots were combined and authorizes the chair’s signature on the vacation resolution.
