The Fairhope City Planning Commission on Oct. 6 approved several routine and project-specific items, including a staff-recommended utility review for a fiber installation and recommendations to City Council on a commercial site plan and a conditional annexation. The commission also accepted an applicant’s request to table a site-plan case indefinitely and completed annual housekeeping including the election of officers.
The commission voted to approve UR25.12539, a utility review for a proposed C Spire fiber installation covering about 14,000 linear feet, with staff’s standard 11 conditions. Mike Jeffries, City of Fairhope staff, presented the case and said staff found no outstanding issues after review. A motion to approve “UR25.12539 Utility Review, subject to staff conditions” passed unanimously.
