The board approved the meeting agenda as presented by motion of Commissioner Jacobson, seconded by Commissioner Castanelli; the motion passed 5-0.
On a separate water item, the board recommended a course of action to the state engineer regarding Carson City applications to change points of diversion and place of use related to temporary pumping adjustments tied to treatment-plant upgrades. Commissioner Hendricks moved and Commissioner Hockaday seconded the motion; the board voted 5-0 to approve the recommendation.
The board also proclaimed October 2025 as National 4‑H Week for Lyon County, a ceremonial action introduced by Hillary Dashiell of the University of Nevada, Reno Extension. Commissioner Jacobson moved the proclamation and Commissioner Castanelli seconded; the motion passed 5-0.
In a public-hearing consent action, the board authorized the business-license office to revoke licenses listed as delinquent or noncompliant with county code and to close related accounts. Treasurer Stacy Lundberg presented an updated list of businesses; Commissioner Hendricks moved approval, Commissioner Jacobson seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
Votes and motions recorded at this meeting were unanimous; the board directed staff to carry out follow-up tasks noted in each item’s motion.
