Staff presented the ordinance at second reading and explained the update aligns local code with the city’s permit obligations for controlling runoff from new development and redevelopment. The ordinance amendment passed on a roll‑call vote with all council members voting in favor.
Mayor Pro Tem Megan Perkins moved adoption of the ordinance and councilors voted yes in roll call (Councilor Franzosa, Councilor Mendez, Councilor Riley, Mayor Pro Tem Perkins, Councilor Norris, Councilor Platt and Mayor Keebler were recorded as voting Aye). Staff said the code change is administrative and regulatory: it modifies city requirements for post‑construction site runoff control and will be implemented by city planning and engineering staff as part of building and site review.
