Craig told the council he intends to position the structure about five feet from the back property line; his house faces north and a 10-foot pole exists along the south of his property. Council members reminded Craig to check current setback and building-height rules before final design.
The council clarified that the meeting that night only set the hearing and did not decide the easement vacation. Staff will advertise the hearing and notify neighbors as required.
