Recreation staff report shows program growth and facilities improvements in FY25

Dalton (Recreation staff/presenter) gave a fiscal-year 2025 recap to the Missouri City Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, reporting increases in programs and participation, modest revenue growth and several operational improvements and grants.
Dalton told the board the department offered 22% more programs in FY25 than in FY24 and recorded a 35% increase in program participants. The staff summary showed 1,946 programs in 2024 and 2,376 in 2025 and 3,026 recreational opportunities offered (up from the 3,000-target). Revenue edged up about 4% year over year, and facility membership and day-pass use rose about 7%.
