Developer offers to provide periodic courthouse redevelopment updates to Oregon City Commission

Seth Henderson, representing the courthouse project developer, told the Oregon City Commission on Oct. 1 that a disposition and development agreement for the courthouse has been executed and recorded and offered to provide regular updates to the commission as milestones occur.
Henderson asked the commission how often it would like updates; commissioners suggested milestone-based updates and flagged the possibility of placing the item as a formal agenda presentation instead of using the general public-comment slot. Commissioner discussion noted community interest in project details, commemorative brick requests and coordination with advisory groups (PRAC) for features such as Liberty Plaza.
Commissioners asked Henderson to coordinate with city staff to schedule updates and requested that the applicant speak to the commission first before outreach to PRAC and neighborhood organizations. Henderson agreed to return to the commission as requested.
