Lombard trustees approve consent agenda covering $5.1 million in payments, award traffic-signal and landscaping contracts; enter executive session on collective

The Village of Lombard Board of Trustees on Oct. 2 approved a consent agenda that included payroll and accounts-payable disbursements totaling about $5.16 million, awarded multiple contracts including a two-year traffic-signal maintenance agreement, and voted to enter an executive session to discuss collective negotiating matters.

The consent agenda passed on a roll-call vote after Trustee Militello moved approval and Trustee Duda seconded. The board approved accounts-payable and payroll items on the consent calendar: $2,751,619.34 in accounts payable for the period ending Sept. 19, 2025; $1,084,682.77 in village payroll for the period ending Sept. 20, 2025; and $1,324,169.46 in accounts payable for the period ending Sept. 26, 2025.

The board also approved a resolution authorizing a license agreement with the owner of the parking lot at 20 North Main Street to allow use of that lot while the village’s lot at 21 North Park Street is temporarily closed for resurfacing.
