The committee also amended its intern stipend policy to permit discretion to exceed a 10‑intern cap when leadership requests additional interns; the amendment passed by voice vote.
Rachel Riddle, chief examiner with the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts, requested authority to set a pay range for up to three unclassified director positions previously authorized by statute; the committee approved establishing a proposed pay range to be used when recruiting for specialized positions.
Each administrative approval was recorded on the meeting record and will be implemented by the relevant agency according to the committee’s instructions.
