Student leaders report on school activities; Central Mountain Middle School highlights Mini Thon, cafeteria redesign

Levi Nace, a student government representative from Central Mountain Middle School, told the Keystone Central School District board on Oct. 2 that "we have had 7 out of the 9 students on our student government from last year return" and that several seats remain open for lower grades. Levi said the CMMS student government will hold elections for open seats this week.

Catherine Farrell, the student government representative from Central Mountain High School, told the board the high school student cabinet recently elected officers and that student leaders have been invited to participate in district policy, curriculum, calendar and finance meetings. She also said CMHS drama and extracurricular activities are underway and reminded the board of an upcoming fall play and homecoming activities.
