The Public Service Commission approved four consent-agenda items at its Oct. 1 administrative meeting, adopting tariff provisions, noting filings and cancelling a license.
The commission voted to accept revised tariff pages from Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative Inc. updating its residential electric-vehicle time-of-use adjustments, with an effective date of Oct. 3, 2025. The commission also noted a joint application from Cable Vision Light Path LLC and United Federal Data of Maryland LLC seeking approval of an internal reorganization and participation in financing arrangements; approved Hanover Insurance Company's request to cancel a bond for NLX North America Inc.; and noted Resource Energy Systems LLC’s notice and request regarding an equity transaction and licensing change of control.
Commissioners cast recorded votes during the consent proceedings. For the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative tariff the commission voted aye; the record shows unanimous affirmative votes from the commissioners present. The commission also cancelled a natural gas supplier license in one consent motion and noted the filing from Resource Energy Systems LLC.
These items were handled on the consent agenda with no extended discussion recorded in the transcript. The commission proceeded afterward to the next scheduled items on the administrative docket.
