Appointments and reappointments - Rick Whitehill was appointed to the Sedgwick County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board (appointed at the commission's request). Votes and procedure All items described above were approved on motions and roll-call votes recorded during the meeting. Two Bid Board items were deferred initially (items 6 and 8) and item 6 (insurance/benefits consulting) was later approved after being added to the record and included in the clerk's minutes.
The board moved to receive and file a single public comment and approved regular meeting minutes for Sept. 3 and Sept. 10. Commissioners used the consent agenda to handle many routine items, and the clerk recorded roll-call approvals for the motions.
