The board approved a supplemental appropriation to the county’s 2025 budget in the amount of $1,442,531 and recommended it to the legislative delegation for approval and authorization. Commissioners also approved increasing the amount to be raised by taxes in the 2025 county budget from $41,995,908 to $43,438,439 and recommended that change to the delegation. Finally, the board voted to authorize a revenue‑anticipation note under RSA 29:8 of up to $6,962,000.
Commissioners said the adjustments were necessary to respond to the county’s financial situation and to remain within statutory caps where possible.
