At the start of the Oct. 20 meeting the Morris Planning Board considered a resolution memorializing its earlier decision on a Murray Contracting LLC subdivision (addresses listed as 73 Gables Road, 20 Squirrel Run and 113 Gables Road). Board discussion clarified typographical and substantive edits to the draft resolution, including consistent spelling of an applicant witness’s name (Nicholas Rocco) and adjustment of language around the applicant’s proposed temporary topsoil stockpile to remove ambiguous joint authority language (the wording was edited so responsibility and review authority are clear).
The resolution reflects a preliminary/final subdivision approval in the R 835 single-family residential zone to split three lots into multiple single-family lots, together with conditions of approval such as dedication of a proposed detention basin and roadway to the township, required landscape and drainage improvements, and other standard conditions. A motion to adopt the resolution “as amended” was moved and seconded and carried on roll call; the transcript records a roll-call vote with members recorded as voting yes and the resolution adopted. Board members also requested dating and page-number corrections in the draft prior to final signing.
