SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco Arts Commission on Oct. 6 unanimously approved two procedural items: the minutes (agenda item 2) and the consent calendar (agenda item 6). The consent calendar included an executive committee item authorizing the allocation of $550,000 from the Public Art Trust for a new permanent artwork in the Filipino Cultural Heritage District.
A motion to approve the minutes was made by Commissioner Beltran and seconded by Vice President Janine Chioda; the motion carried unanimously. The consent calendar was moved and seconded on the record and passed unanimously. The executive committee report submitted on the consent calendar indicated that the committee had approved the $550,000 allocation and placed the item on the consent calendar for full commission consent.
No recusals or withdrawals were recorded on the consent calendar. The full commission did not take separate roll-call votes beyond the 'aye' voice vote recorded for each item.
