Franklin asked for a 12-month extension, saying a 6-month extension would be the standard fallback if the board preferred shorter relief: “Ideally, a 12 month extension, if possible. If not, the standard 6 months,” he said.
Staff reported no public comments submitted and no speakers appeared in support or opposition. A motion to approve a 12-month extension was made and seconded; the chair announced the motion carried.
