The items listed on the consent agenda and approved were: - A resolution recognizing October as Health Literacy Awareness Month (honorary resolution). - Approval of an appointment to the Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council. - Acceptance of a Minnesota Department of Health grant for maternal and child health initiatives. - Acceptance of a Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. - Authorization of a revenue contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves for bomb detection security services.
The chair moved approval of the items and, after the committee voice vote, "those items carry," with no recorded opposition on the record.
