The petitioner said he wants to enclose part of a side area used for parking access and to add a porch and gate to secure the yard; he told the board there is sufficient space in the rear yard and said the work is intended to stop unauthorized parking on the lot.
Vice Chair Johnson moved to approve case B51‑25; Member Stanton seconded. The board administrator called the roll: Chair Boulware — aye; Vice Chair Johnson — aye; Member Stanton — aye. Motion carries 3–0. Board staff will follow up with Mr. Padilla on the permit and any administrative items.
During testimony, the board confirmed the fence height falls within allowable limits and therefore no separate security‑exemption review was required.
