The Highland Village Community Development Corporation approved the minutes from its July 22, 2025, regular meeting and selected new leadership at its Oct. 23 meeting.

The board unanimously approved the minutes for the July 22 meeting after a brief call for questions. “Do I have a motion?” a board member asked; Kevin Cox moved to approve the minutes and Rhonda Hurst seconded. The chair called for the vote and the motion was approved.

Later in the meeting the board considered appointments for chair and vice chair following membership changes. Members nominated Brian Fierinza for chair and Rhonda Hurst for vice chair. After asking for objections and hearing none, the presiding officer announced the motion had passed.

The board chair also welcomed new member Matt Insulin at the start of the meeting.

No dollar impacts or follow-up tasks were recorded with the actions; both items were routine organizational business and approved during the Oct. 23 meeting.
