The Technical Advisory Committee of the Central Virginia Transportation Authority voted to advance a project agreement for a Route 360 widening in Chesterfield County to the full Authority for execution.
Chet (CBTA/PlanRVA staff) described the project as a locally administered widening of Route 360 (Woodlake Village Parkway to Otterdale Road) and said it follows the approach used for earlier approved regional projects. The project has been allocated regional funds and is ready to move forward, Chet said.
A TAC member made a motion to recommend execution of the agreement and a second was recorded. The committee heard no additional discussion and approved the recommendation by voice vote; TAC staff recorded the vote as unanimous.
TAC members present suggested there were no outstanding technical issues that would prevent the agreement from moving to the full authority. The staff presentation indicated the project had previously received a regional allocation and that the agreement is the next step in obligating those funds.
The TAC did not discuss contract award details, specific timelines for construction, or final reimbursement amounts at the meeting; staff said the project folders and cost estimates would be available to members via SharePoint for review as part of the cost estimate verification process.
