The Public Service Commission on Oct. 22, 2025 approved a three-item consent agenda that granted a Maryland natural gas supplier license to Snyder Brothers and issued renewable-energy facility certification numbers to Lock 14 Hydro Partners LLC and North American Power Systems Solon LLC.
The approvals were moved on the consent calendar and commissioners present recorded their votes in the affirmative. Staff recommended approval of the applications and the certificate actions were conditioned on compliance with applicable COMAR provisions as noted in staff recommendations.
Staff told the commission the consent package included: (1) Snyder Brothers — a license to operate as a natural gas supplier in Maryland for the customer classes and service territories applied for, with the company required to notify the commission within 30 days of any changes to application information; (2) Lock 14 Hydro Partners LLC — issuance of a renewable energy facility ID subject to compliance with COMAR 20.61.02.02 and COMAR 20.61.03.02; and (3) North American Power Systems Solon LLC — issuance of a renewable energy facility ID subject to the same COMAR requirements noted above. Staff recommended approval for each application and the commission granted those recommendations.
The action on the consent agenda concludes staff review steps for the listed applications; companies are required to follow the compliance and notification items staff identified in their filings.
