Council confirms two board appointments, including licensed architect to Landmarks Commission

Provo Mayor recommended two appointments to city boards and the Municipal Council voted 5-0 to confirm them.
The mayor recommended Florence Hawkinson be appointed to a four-year term on the Landmarks Commission ending June 30, 2029. The mayor described Hawkinson as a licensed practicing architect with more than 20 years of industry experience.
The mayor also recommended that Noah Gordon be reappointed to a three-year term on the Transportation and Mobility Advisory Committee ending June 30, 2028. Council members had no questions and no public commenters addressed the appointments.
The council recorded a unanimous voice vote of those present: Councilors George Handley, Katrice McKay, Becky Bogdan, Rachel Whipple and Gary Garrett voted yes; Councilors Christiansen and Hoban were excused.
