Habitat for Humanity reports homes occupied and construction continuing at Wade Drive project

Habitat for Humanity Nantucket representatives updated the Nantucket Affordable Housing Trust on Oct. 14 about progress on a six-home development on Wade Drive, behind the firehouse.
Jerry, a representative of Habitat for Humanity Nantucket, said two of the six homes have moved in and two more single-family units should be completed "in approximately 2 to 3 weeks" once fire department inspections are finished. He said the duplex in the middle of the site is about one-third complete and still needs interior work.
The project includes four two-bedroom, 2.5-bath homes (about 1,350 square feet) and two three-bedroom, 3.5-bath homes (about 2,100 square feet). Jerry said all…
