The council approved an amendment to the statement of benefits for Great Dane's tax abatement to extend the target completion date for phases 2 and 3 of the company's expansion project to 2027; the council was told phase 2 equipment purchases and production start dates are expected in 2026. That amendment passed by roll call, 7-0.
