The machine also includes two annual service visits under the recommended package, a maintenance kit, a 40% parts‑discount arrangement and $3,000 of paint included annually.
Committee members asked whether the district would train multiple staff members to operate the machine and how the unit would be moved between sites. Facilities said they plan to train the entire ground crew and select administrators so multiple staff can operate it and provide coverage during absences. The presenter said the model being considered can program and paint curved lines and logos as well as straight field markings and can be used for parking‑lot striping, reducing paint time per lot to half a day for one person compared with multiple staff for a full day.
