The motions, as read into the record, state that each student “has not been a resident of the district” for the indicated school-year periods and ordered that each student “will be disenrolled effective 10/07/2025 and will not be permitted to attend Maine Township High School District 207 or any of its schools after this date.” Both motions were seconded and carried on recorded votes.
Separately, the board approved a remedial warning in the form of a notice to remedy for Margaret Heiselman after a motion was offered, seconded and approved by the board.

"I move that the Board of Education has fully considered and upholds the administration's determination that student 100625-1 has not been a resident of the district ... As a result, student number 100625-1 will be disenrolled effective 10/07/2025," a board member said when moving one of the residency motions. The same language was used for the second student motion.
