Semple also said the store has hosted concerts before and that she would alert nearby residents and the police.
A board member asked whether Semple anticipated alcohol use; Semple replied, “Oh, no. Not at all.” A board member moved to approve the noise exemption; another member seconded. The board approved the request by voice vote and the chair instructed Semple to wait after the meeting to sign paperwork.
