Superintendent Michael Thomas told the board the district has launched a beta version of a continuous improvement data dashboard that will publish server results, scorecards and enrollment updates and be updated as new data arrive. "This will be in Organa. We'll kind of grow and modify that as necessary," Thomas said, and said he would share the link on the district's continuous improvement web page.
Thomas also announced recognition and outreach events: a School Board Scholars recognition on Oct. 21 to honor students with high cumulative GPAs, and a partnership community conversation with the Prior Lake‑Savage Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 12 to align employer needs and student pathways. "We'll be showcasing some of those pathway partnerships with our MNCAPS program," he said.
The superintendent listed the district's 2025 Laker Hall of Fame inductees and reminded the public that early voting is underway for a special board election; he said the district web page (plsas.org/election) has polling‑place details for district voters.
Why it matters: The continuous improvement dashboard is intended to give the board and community near‑real‑time access to performance, enrollment and scorecard data. The chamber partnership seeks to inform career pathways and employer‑education alignment.
Meeting evidence: Remarks appear in the superintendent's report portion of the meeting packet and were read aloud in the public session.
