City approves six new business grants, creates $400,000-plus pot for incentives

The West Palm Beach City Commission on Oct. 14 approved Resolution 205-25, creating six new economic development grant programs aimed at supporting small businesses, neighborhood branding and corporate relocations.
Robbie Sami, economic development specialist, presented the proposal and described the new catalog items as the result of the city's 2018 economic development study and outreach to local business stakeholders. He recommended adoption and said three of the proposed programs were already included in the CRA's strategic finance plan.
