Commissioner Gillespie asked the San Patricio County Commissioners Court to place a refresh of the county’s industrial growth plan on a future agenda, saying the document needs review after several recent personnel changes among elected officials.
Gillespie told the court that the plan has been “four years in the works” and that many newly elected officials — including two new members on the current court — make it timely to revisit and decide how to proceed. “We need to bring this thing back…and determine how we want to proceed moving forward,” Gillespie said.
The presiding County Judge acknowledged the request and agreed to add the item to a future agenda. The court did not set a date for that agenda item during the meeting record.
No formal action beyond the instruction to schedule the item was recorded.
