Tax-sale certificate assignment (Resolution 2025-22-CM) The board approved Resolution 2025-22-CM to assign tax-sale certificates for parcels that did not sell at tax sale to the City of Lafayette. The city expressed interest in two parcels: 40 Chestnut Street and 1913 Salem Street. Motion and second were recorded in the meeting; the resolution passed on voice vote.
Vehicle transfer (Resolution 2025-23-CM) The board approved Resolution 2025-23-CM to authorize transfer of a 2005 vehicle titled to the board (on sheriff's office inventory) to the City of Lafayette; the vehicle was described in the record as having minimal value. County staff noted statute allows transfer between jurisdictions if both agree. The resolution passed on voice vote.
Addendum to Cintas services agreement The board approved an addendum to the services agreement with Cintas Corporation to place the county on the state's master contract; county staff said pricing is the same as previously approved but the contract will now run under the State of Indiana master agreement.
