Wethersfield School District administrators told the Board of Education on Oct. 14 that the district's official Oct. 1 enrollment is 3,383 students and that average class sizes fell to a 10-year low at the elementary level.
"Our total enrollment for Oct. 1 is 3,383 students," said Mr. Whidbey, district administrator, as he described the annual class-size report the board receives each fall. "At K–6, it's 16.73 students per class. That's down from 17.38 students last year."
