The Delaware County Regional Wastewater District authorized final payments to contractor Brackney to close out the Wharton area improvements project.
Staff reported two payouts: $37,059.17 to complete punch‑list work and $206,001.29 as the final retainage payment. "That's getting everything buttoned up on the punch list... that's their last retainage. So this pretty much closes out on their side for Brackney," staff said. The board approved the payments on a voice vote.
Staff indicated the project will likely enter the warranty period and that any outstanding invoices from the current month would be presented separately. The board asked staff to prepare a summary of remaining bond balances and any items that might be returned to the bond fund for the next meeting.
