District honors boys varsity golf team for state runner-up finish

The Buckeye Valley Board of Education recognized the varsity boys golf team for a successful season that included a district championship and a division state runner‑up finish.
Five players — Sam Reynolds, Matthew Ralph, Harlow Hafner, Jay Honhorst and Grayson Keller — and assistant coach TJ Cheney were introduced to the board. The team finished the season 16‑2, the district said, and Sam Reynolds won an individual state championship.
Board members and administrators congratulated the players and coach on the accomplishment.
