The Area Plan Commission for Tippecanoe County on a unanimous voice vote approved two amendments to the metropolitan transportation improvement program on items submitted by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The first amendment authorized adding AASHTOWare software to the TIP so MPO staff and partner agencies can use it to improve crash-location reporting and reduce time spent locating crash sites in annual crash reports. The second amendment moved 10 existing projects from an informational table into the TIP’s financially constrained table and increased funding for a project on State Road 225 to $10,200,000.
